Terms of Use for MatchLog

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MatchLog mobile application and related services ("MatchLog", "the app", "the service") provided by Eren Demircan ("we", "our", or "us").

By downloading, accessing, or using MatchLog, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least the age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction to use MatchLog. If you are using the app on behalf of an entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

MatchLog allows users to browse football matches, track personal match-related activity, save reactions or notes, and use related app features.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice.

3. User Accounts

If the app supports accounts:

• you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• you are responsible for activity under your account
• you agree to provide accurate information
• you must notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the service for unlawful purposes
• interfere with or disrupt the app or its servers
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts
• scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or exploit the service except as permitted by law
• upload or submit harmful, abusive, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful content
• misuse the service in a way that could harm us, other users, or third parties

5. User Content

If you create or submit content within MatchLog, such as notes, reactions, or other entries:

• you retain ownership of your content
• you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate applicable law or the rights of others.

6. Third-Party Data and Services

MatchLog may display football-related data or rely on third-party services. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of third-party content or services.

Third-party names, trademarks, logos, and data remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Intellectual Property

The app, including its design, branding, software, text, graphics, and other content provided by us, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly allowed in these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from the service.

8. Beta / Free Service Disclaimer

MatchLog may be provided as a free or early-stage service. Features may change, contain errors, or become unavailable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MatchLog is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that:

• the service will always be available
• the service will be error-free
• data will always be accurate or complete
• defects will always be corrected

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of MatchLog.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose. If you did not pay for the service, our liability will be limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to MatchLog at any time if:

• you violate these Terms
• we believe your use creates risk for us or others
• we discontinue the service

You may stop using the app at any time. If the app supports accounts, you may also request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Republic of Türkiye, excluding its conflict of law rules, unless otherwise required by mandatory local law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
